Not everyone likes children.

She probably has been around children who have not been disciplined or have been disciplined incorrectly. Most of the time I find children intolerable too. If she is applying for a job that requires her to have contact with children I would suggest she try something else. If she doesn't have to be around them why does it matter? She is entitled to her likes and dislikes. If she has to be around them or wants to be perhaps she can take some childhood education classes or find someone who has well behaved children and learn from them.

Don't ever ask her to babysit for you.
It's her choice...
