If AB and CD are sides of the trapezoid and not bases, then x = 10. (both of the sides are the same in an isosceles trapezoid.

Not very clear. If BA and CD are not the bases then
BA = CD by isosceles and 15 = x + 5 then x = 10.

If this is not the case, there is not enough information.
