An appendix ( a quarter horse - thoroughbred) they have the cow sense and agility of a quarter horse and the speed and beauty of a thoroughbred. I'm a barrel racer to I guess my opinion is a little biased, but the mix of my two favorite breeds in amazing, and I own 2.

It would depend on what I was going to do on it. If I was going on a trail ride, it would probably be some kind of walker or standard bred. A hard and steep mountain bear hunting trip would be a good rock crushing Mule. If I was going to do some roping or bull dogging, it would be a nice Quarter horse. It's very important to know what your going to do or on your horse before you go out and buy one. There is a all around horse that you can do just about anything on or with if your not sure what you want to do and that's a good ol 15 hand high Quarter horse.

Tennessee Walking Horses (The Horse of Versatility) or any gaited horse. Cuz when you ride em' it fells like your ridin' on a cloud and their willingness is out standing i think. I own 2 tennessee walking horses, 1 standerdbred, 1 gaited morgan, and 1 racking horse.

I like all types and breeds of horses. Prefer Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, Paints, Warmbloods, Hanoverians, but LOVE Standardbred's.

Quarter horses for me. I've tried several different gaited horses, but have come back to the quarter horse.

To my eyes? I prefer Morabs, Marwari, and Spanish Mustangs.
But in personalities I have found that mix breeds are usually sweeter, depending on their upbringings

I prefer quarter horses, paints and throughbreds. They are all very smart and all around horses. I do barrel racing and english jumping with my quarter horse and paint.
