I've been searching online for the costume. I can find pieces of the costume like guns etc, but I don't know where to buy the shirt and shorts that are similiar to the one that Lara Croft wears in the game.

Maybe ask in the forums over on cosplay.com? I think most of those costumes people wear to conventions are home-made, but they might be able to direct you to sources for things like shirts, boots etc.
