So I'd like to "do" something "thoughtful" rather than "buy" something "expensive." Not that I wouldnt but im only working with like $100. That money is definately at her disposal but, I want to have something i can do to suprise her right when she gets home.

Do you live together? If so, spend the rest of the time doing all the housework you can. Have dinner ready for her when she arrives (even if it's just ordering pizza), and don't let her do an ounce of work. Put her purse and keys away for her, take her coat, etc. Let her watch whatever she wants on TV, rent movies and get popcorn, snuggle up and massage her shoulders while you watch movies.

I think that you could probably light some candles and have the house set up all romantic, have a nice birthday card sitting on the table and, if you have some extra time, I mean like 30 minutes go out and but something for her like jewlery........ but my question is, how serious is your relationship, not to be nosy but if you are not that serious then just have some (scented) candles ready. But if you are severly serious with her and you are ready, you could propose...... I sure know that being proposed to for my birthday would make any woman's heart melt. Good Luck with tonight and if you have anymore relationship problems yuo can e-mail me at: angelicsweetie101@yahoo.com

Most of your answers so far are on track, but remember to be showered, shaved and wearing your best when she arrives home.

Sometimes the most simple things are the best. Maybe go back to the place you went to on your first date, or take a romantic walk together near a beach, lake or park.

Pick up the house.

Go buy dinner. If you need help in that area find a place that puts it together with instructions to cook it.

Buy flowers.

Light candles.

Give her a massage.
And a bubble bath. ( bath first-it helps soften the muscles)
Be sure to SCRUB the tub well. Dont leave ajax grit in it.

Relax.

Candles, Champagne, and some romantic music.

Dollar store for the candles.
15$ for some Rossi Asti champagne.
I'm sure you can dig up an old Barry White CD.

Oh,...and flowers never hurt.

Run out and get a few flowers, bottle of wine, candles, food to cook, and treat her to a nice candlelit dinner. Get something for dessert too, that you can stick a birthday candle into.

You want "thoughtful" now? And you are asking complete strangers.

Seems to be you should have planned "thoughtful" a lot earlier than this and you would be asking her friends and family members for some ideas.

Why not call one of them and get some suggestions as they would know her better than strangers.
