I am going to take a shot the dark and act like I understand the question. here goes If you want a divorce because you are not happy then sit down and see what is it that is making you unhappy if it is him maybe the get a divorce cause if you are not happy then he might be in the same boat if there are kids involved tread lightly maybe you could try to work on it but if you really don't think that will help then anyone will understand. I told my husband I would rather you be happy without me than unhappy with me hope it helps.

If you not happy it doenst matter what age you are you need to look at other options for your future. You are obviously not happy and dont love him anymore..how does he feel about you? Marriage councelling can sometimes help if two people want it to work out. Why not try talking to him...either way...dont stay if your not happy life it too short to be miserable. Divorce at any age is better than staying in a loveless marriage.

Can you support yourself? Do you work? Do you have a plan where to live? Do you have friends and family who will be their for you emotionally?
It doesn't matter if you are middle aged or not. If you are unhappy, do you want to spend the rest of your life like this?
Make a plan for yourself and go.

What the heck are you talking about?
Take up a semi adventurous hobbie like scuba diving, or go on a dangerous adventure where you have to help each other like Rock Climbing. See if it helps your relationship. If not, dump him.

If you are not happy, at your age, then you deserve to be. You need to weigh your odds, and if you can afford to go your separate ways, then you owe it to your self to be happy!
