I can`t believe the Scrubbing Bubbles didn't work.....I love that stuff....Did you spray it on and wait a few min. then spray again and then wipe it off?.....
WD-40 will get it off, after you wipe all the WD-40 off you can use the scrubbing bubbles to remove the little bit of residue the WD-40 leaves behind....

Get some Zep soap scum remover from Home Depot. After you shower spray some Zep all around the shower, let it sit. Do this for a week or so after every shower. After a week spray some more Zep in the shower and with a good sponge wipe down the walls and tube. The soap scum will wipe right off. Be careful with Zep, it is very strong stuff. After you get it good and clean, once or twice a week spray down your shower. this will keep it clean with out all the scrubbing. Zep works great and is inexpensive.

The mister clean magic eraser with the scrubby thing on it. will not harm the walls. also try mr clean power cleaner it comes in a pink spray bottle.

will work wonders.

another option is to try something called kaboom or the Comet in a spray bottle.

Kabooom works really well on almost anything. and the Comet, spray and leave on for a few min then use a wet sponge to work it off.

any of the above three would work for ya. I have two very busy bathrooms and we get oodles of soap scum. i switch between the three products from time to time.

This type of scaly deposit is mostly 'carbonate' salt which needs an acidic medium to dissolve. Vinegar also is acidic but being organic, it is very mild. Patented products have tall claims but they too contain mostly hydrochloric acid with some inhibitor and are very costly. Quick and best results are obtained with diluted hydrochloric acid (1:10) which I have been using for over three years now without any damage to the surfaces, Toilet cleaning liquids also contain this acid and can be successfully used for this purpose. However, you have to be careful while using these chemicals. Do not forget to protect your hands with rubber gloves and eyes with clear goggles and keep the room properly ventilated by keeping the windows/ventilators open. The diluted chemical should be applied to the affected surface with a flat paint brush and washed after ten to fifteen minutes. A sponge should be used to finish the job to get renewed look..

I have lots of prior experience dealing with scum. Get yourself around 12 lbs. of C-4. Divide it up into 1lb. chunks. Place each chunk 4-6 inches apart around the shower floor, making sure not to get any on your clothing. Now get back, way back. Ignite. Your scum problems have been eradicated. Hope I helped. Have a great day!

Have you tried a product such as Comet. Thats what I use on fiberglass. Just sprinkle some on wet rag & scrub away. Should remove w/a bit of elbow grease.
