i normally spot for 2-3 days before mesnstruation. i have started charting BBT this month.I am TTC. I spotted yesterday 7 das prior to my AF date. but i did not see temp drop. Pl give me some more info about it .

I wouldn't worry about the spotting. I don't want to get your hopes up but it could be implantation spotting which is where the fertilized egg is implanting. It could also mean you have low progesterone. And it could mean nothing. Just don't look too much in it right now. If your temp is still up don't worry and just wait it out. If it doesn't drop and you don't start your period within another week take a pregnancy test. Good luck!

Mine always dropped when I started spotting, so I always knew AF was going to be there for sure. Sometimes it wouldn't spot until the day before and sometimes a few days, but always before actual blood flow.

everyone is different :( i would occasionally spot for a day or two before my period, but i wouldnt get a good temp drop until the day i started, or even the day after. heck, some months it never really dropped...
