Our company has season tickets to a football game, and a group of 4 of us were going to the game this weekend. Everyone in this group is younger and likes to have a good time...if you know what I mean. So a few minutes ago, another co-worker comes to us and gives a sad story about how she wanted to take her daughter to the game. It was obvious that she wanted the tickets for herself, so 2 of us gave the tickets to her to have this weekend. Now, there are 2 of us with tickets and 2 of us without tickets and the 2 that have the tickets have to go watch the game with an older lady and her daughter which equals NO FUN. Was this a dick move by the older lady? And what should we do now to solve this problem?

Shove the other 2 tickets down her crybaby throat and tell her to enjoy the game and you'll be thinking of her when the beer you drink at home gets recycled.

And yes, that was a dick move on her part. I wouldntve given up my 2 tix, I woulda chased her around the office, fake-crying and talking in baby talk "waah waaah me wants to take me daughter me cant go to da game waaaah me watch on me tv waaaah"...
But I'm like that, so you do what you want.

Who decided to give up their tickets? It's was their call, they have nobody to blame but themselves. If they wanted to let the lady & her daughter go instead, good for them- but they can't whine about it now.

Maybe give up the other 2 tickets, order pizza and have a party with the widescreen TV - if all four of you would rather hang out- then you can harass the first two about being soft-headed idiots :P

Or, go to the game- you never know... it might be fun after all. Your co-worker might be some wild uber fan that makes the local news :)

BBBOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Damn- That's a bad situation. This is what I would do... I would approach the lady with an "honest" concern. Tell her that you are so worried about her taking her young daughter to this game because you heard that these 2 other rowdy guys are going to be sitting next to her. "And, you know how they are going to act." (wink, wink). Offer her the tickets to the next game that is at home and assure her that way she won't have her daughter around any rowdy, drunk, obnoxious, crude men. Play it up!! Good Luck, and have fun on Sunday!!!

Speaking of dick moves, how bout your dumb azz boss who gave up the tickets for free. Sheeet you he could sell those tickets on ebay and undercut some chump. Now that would be a dick move.

Whoever it is, good luck with the daughter, anyways. I recommend peach schnapps for the old lady, she probably likes to get drunker than a monkey.

seems like you have two options:

1-go enjoy it for what it is: family-type time with hopefully a good game.

2-give her the other two tickets and wait for the next game if you really feel that there's no way you'll have a good time.

its too late to reneg: "indian-giving" is a rude manuever. what's done is done, so make the most of it or wait for the next game and watch this one on tv with your buddies. and next time, don't give them away if you feel it is such a loss.

It's not a 'dick move' by the lady...she got what she wanted. Your buddies that gave up the tickets are the *****.

Buy 2 more tickets, and give them to her and her daughter and ask her for the ones you gave her so that atleast you all can sit together. If she says no its ok, then rip them out of her stingy hand, smack her on the forehead and push her over.

No, it's dick on the part of the people that gave them up. Unless, one of the fun people hooks up with the daughter of the old lady.

relies upon on the style you probably did it. besides breaking apart along with her once you're no longer into her isn't a foul undertaking, even with the undeniable fact that it became stupid to pass out along with her in any respect in case you have been along with her just to make the different woman jealous or notwithstanding

It was your choice to give them up. It was nice of you to do that for someone.
