Anyone who lives in washingon state, Do you know what the Union is? as far as working and getting a job?

Unions were originally created to protect workers rights, but now, if you have a Union job, you are pretty much overpaid, with the best benefits, the most vacation time, and have serious job protection (it is very hard to get fired or laid off as a Union worker). Therefore, Union jobs are very competitive and hard to get. You pretty much have to know someone or be related to someone who already works there and get recommended.
