i would tell you to go see a doctor and get it check out because it can be casues by a few things and it is better for a doctor to check you out.
from personal opinion it can be causes by poor circulation.
also it can be cause from sleeping on your hand and/or putting pressure on it for a long period of thing blocking blood circulation from happening and thus nubbing of the fingers.
also more serious problems if you have a history of stroke and/or heart attacks in the family, this can also be a way that the body is advising you that somethign more serious is going on.
it can also be water bloating.

The only thing that comes to mind is diabetes, but you might just be experiencing poor circulation. Have you had a check-up lately? Maybe now's a good time?

You could have bad circulation, my friends gets very red feet because she has bad circulation and a lady told her to take half an asprin a day and it really helped prehaps you should try that....but make sure you talk to you doctor before taking any medication!!!

Does your shoulder hurt at night while sleeping?
