OK, being in my 30's I can honestly say that I don't find VG near as entertaining as when was a kid. However I do have an achilles heel for older games. These games are near as cuttting edge with 16 bit graphics and inferior game play, but i still enjoy playing them, sometimes even more than the newer games. Does anyone else have a preference to the older VG?

I still love playing older games from time to time. The best of them have held up well.
As time goes on, I grow more disenchanted with newer games. Graphics get better, but prices rise and the games look to be pretty much the same stuff I've been playing for the last few years. Games today seem to be, on the whole, a lot less creative than they were 10 years ago.
I'm excited about the Wii and a few of the upcoming games in some of my favorite series, but that's about it. I'm rapidly losing faith in the industry and its a shame, because I know that the video game, as a medium, has a lot of potential and a lot to offer.

We're the same age and I enjoy both new and old games alike. I gotta say, I do prefer some times to play with my favorite oldies like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance than some of my new ones like Dawn of Sorrow but they're both great. I hope I can get the Wii. That way I could play all the ones I missed out on like Chrono Trigger, Fire Emblem and the like.

The older games are amazing. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the old school Nintendo and the Mario/ Duck Hunt combo. Those were the best. I love Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Twooie as well. They aren't as old as the Mario one, but they are classic. Thanks for bringing up those good memories.

pac man, frogger, donkey kong, ms. pacman, and mario. I love them! I used to play a game called Xenophobe. I wasted alot of money on that one! that was in the mid to late 80's, haven't seen it since.
