From solid to vapor is a kind of evaporation or volatilization (to volatilize).
Sublimation is the inverse (from vapor to solid).

This is known as Sublimation.
Example: One can see sublimation in case of Naphthalene Balls/Moth Balls and Camphor.
Moth balls when kept with clothing articles after some time they vanish due to their conversion in to gaseous state one can see it rapidly vanishing by heating it directly (Its Hazardous too) under safe conditions(Keep a fire extinguisher near you before heating Moth ball or Camphor)
