Rubbing alcohol and newspaper is all you need for shiny, streak free windows..You don`t have to mix vinegar with it, it works better without the vinegar in it...

Try using white vinegar and alcohol with a water mix. Make sure to use newspaper for a streak free shine. Use only about 2 tablespoons of vinegar so you want have the strong odor of vinegar.

I use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water for very dirty widows. Reduce the amount of vinegar for lighter cleaning. Good Luck !

everyone is right when they say to use vinegar..it cuts through the grease.but for a really lovely finish, make sure you add just a little dash of washing-up liquid to the vinegar/water mixture....oh and you will only get a streak free finish by using newspaper....you'll have inky hands though so be carefull what you touch!!HAPPY CLEANING!
