As a Norteamericano, I like Mexican people. I live in South Texas and know many Mexican-Americans and a few people who are from Mexico itself. I am sad that your country has many problems now, with drugs and crime. I hope these will be corrected soon. Several years ago I was close friends with a beautiful young woman from Mexico City. She was one of the most intelligent and sweetest people I have known, and I would do anything for her if she asked me to. I think she is typical of many Mexican people and I have very positive feelings toward Mexico because of her.

Taboo?? SEX!! Moms/dads don't sit down with their kids and give them 'the birds & the bees' talk. at least not the older generations. I'm Mexican, no one ever talked to me about this,
I had to find out on my own!! ; )

Well, 'donkey shows' are accepted as entertainment. I really wouldn't think that ANYTHING is taboo in Mexico.

I have heard that it is REALLY offensive to knock using the "shave and a haricut two bits" rythem. It is supposed to be very rude and offensive.

I hope that made sense.
