I would say not to park there. The meter maid might see the damaged meter and your damaged car and put 2 and 2 together and ticket you. How much did you get from the meter?

Your obligated to pay for the meter itself, plus the tickets that go along with it, but on the other hand you wouldnt have to pay the meter fee!

Technically it is your parking meter because essentially you pay for it. Try smashing it on your forehead, that outta work.
