Turn light switch from auto to off. The car will be fitted with light sensors so just flick light stalk switch from auto position to off which is usually (0). Auto is the first position on stalk, in old models the off position was there. So could be a faulty hand!!!

disconnect the battery for 10 min and reconnect, leave for 1 min then start car. The bcu (body control unit - a computer) has crashed, this will reset it.

theres a short in the wiring or maybe rain water has got into the lights or wiring.
