You are fine as long as you have had them before, but you can get shingles. I am not sure how ( or if) this affects the baby. I would say probably not, because I have been pregnant 4 times and have read about nearly every thing that can go wrong, and I never came accross that. Has your daughter's fever gone away now that she has a rash? I thought my daughter had chicken pox because she had developed a high fever and then started getting bumps all over her, but her fever had gone away. Turns out it was Roseola. No big deal. Most kids get it. Will go away on its own. You shouldnt be worried about roseola either, because most people get it as infants or children. Hope that helps.

Here's what I know...
My mom had chicken pox when she was pregnant with me. She did not have any problems as she was monitored very closely by her doctor and I was born healthy as can be.
I however have not had chicken pox and when I was pregnant I was strictly forbidden by my doctor to not be around ANYONE with them! After my baby was born, I was given the vaccine against them that most children are getting now.
So, I would guess that you are fine since you have already had them. I would contact your doctor and double check just to be safe! Better safe than sorry!

You had them as a child and you are immune. You should be 100% fine. Good luck.
If a pregnant woman has had chickenpox before the pregnancy, the baby will be protected from infection for the first few months of life, since the mother's immunity gets passed on to the baby through the placenta and breast milk.

No, even in the adventure that your sister has had rooster pox, the virus might pass the placental barrier and impact the unborn toddler. And your sister might get shingles because it is likewise led to by ability of rooster pox virus. that's no longer properly worth taking a probability - shop your daughter and your sister faraway from one yet another till the rooster pox scabs are dry.

If you have already had the chicken poxs then your body is build up agaist getting them and it is passed over to the baby.
Since you have had the chicken poxs their is no need to worry because their is no chance of you or your baby getting sick.

You're OK if you've already had them. Make sure your baby gets immunized for them when she's old enough.
