Toyota wants $95 just to look at it. The service rep on the phone said it could cost up to $500 to fix. Is this something I could get parts for and fix myself (I did replace a broken door handle myself once).

Man! I had the same thing on my Camry. When I bought it (used), one window didn't work. They kept going out until now I only have one window that DOES work. What a pain!

it ought to be a pair of issues. First the least puzzling to verify is the fuse. Then if that exams out ok, it ought to be the swap that works the window. The worst scenario is the window motor itself might have went out. the excellent concern to do is take it to a expert to get an opinion.

check all your fuses, make sure its broken before you fix it - then call advance auto parts and get the part - its not that hard to change the switch - if that doesnt work change the window motor thingy.....power windows are great when they work - but the ole "crank-handle,roll it down yourself thing is more dependable.

what I would do is check the fuses if they look good then I would go to a junk yard and get the part for 10 bucks it's all easy stuff to work on and if you can take it off you can put it in

maybe its the fuse cuz they all run off of fuses. check tha control panel and see which one it is and they should sell them at ur local auto parts store n theyre not hard to replace.

Take it to your nearest SAFELITE AUTO GLASS, they will check it for free and let you know what it will cost to fix it.

I doubt it's your fuse. Possible motor or regulator problem.
