Hey Yahooers, maybe you can illuminate one of the great Mysteries of the Universe for me: Why do so many straight, hetero males find 2 women together so erotic (I have to plead guilty to the crime myself) and yet I've never met a woman that finds 2 men together anything but a turnoff. This is an interesting gender difference, is it genetic, psychological, cultural, hardwired into us or learned behavior? I've seen this question asked before & never seen a good answer. Thanks in advance for any serious, thoughtful answers ( or any seriously funny ones too!!)

Note to sassysour - Good question, should have specified. I meant women in general regardless of orientation. I ask this question from my personal experience, judging from some of the answers my experience is a bit limited.
To "spirtualbut not religious" - good point, I'm not talking about threesomes, strictly man-on-man or woman -on-woman. Thanx!

Maybe it has something about the difference in the way males and females do it. Women are probably more romantic to look at, and of course every male gets in it his head, that they both want a real man. and it is all the flesh. I am a female and yes I am totally grossed about by the ideal of two man, I think it is the way they do it and the fact that you know they don't want a woman in the picture, besides most homosexuals aren't attractive to females, males are still attracted to lesbian females.

There are a large section of the female community that find two guys together appealing. They write a lot of fanfiction about it, called slash fiction, and mostly base it on two good looking men (real or characters from various TV shows etc).
I've also explained this to female friends before in the context that most of what two women do together is just what a man and woman would do for foreplay.

It's really very simple. You're a man. Males of most species are hardwired to want to spread their seed as much as possible. For this reason, when men see two or more women together they instinctively think...one woman good...two women better...etc..
Women on the other hand (because we're the one's who get pregnant) are hardwired to want a partner who will stick around and help raise the kids. Because of the paternity issue most men won't agree to do it together so women are not biologically wired to want more than one.
When two girls are doing it, males are (generally) the one's getting off and they already have the predisposition to like that. Females on the other hand are not as likely to be imagining joining them. Male on male appears more permanent. While, female on female can be interpreted as something to get men off. Finally, women's bodies are more aethetically pleasing to the eye (soft and delicate), while men's bodies can seem harder, hairier, and more threatening.

Are you asking about hetero women wondering if two men together is hot, or women in general, no matter their sexual orientation? I watched an episode of Oprah not too long ago, and she had two lesbians on the show who said they both enjoy watching two men have sex. There's something about it that turns them on, much like watching two women turns on a man.

Because females have very attractive, soft, curvy bodies and men do not. Females are also very sensual and erotic. Men just wanna ****. I'm a female with no bi- curiousity at all, yet would rather watch 2 girls than two guys. Also, with 2 guys you are dealing with a dick and an anus- not attractive. With two females you mostly just see the bodies and the sensuality, not the private parts.

well personally I think both are disgusting. But women naturally can hug each other and kiss each other and sleep in the same bed together and change in front of each other and not be considered a lesbian. But if a guy did stuff like that he would be considered gay. Also, guys think differently than females. Femininity allows behaviors like you described to be acceptable, but masculinity does not accept behaviors like that.

Some people interpreted your question to involve a "menage a trois". I did not. I interpreted your question to regard a person of one gender watching two people of the same (but opposite from the watcher) gender "fool" around.
From that point of interpretation, my answer is this: I am male and I don't get turned on watching two women make out. However I do have a lot of porn that involves two women making out. Why? Because I get to see two sets of breasts at the same time. It's that simple. I love breasts. It's not the two women making out that's a turn on to me, it's the ability to see two sets of breasts at the same time. (Ladies, I do not mean to reduce you to being a set of breasts. Envy has some to do with it... women are much more intune with themselves and can get much more enjoyment from there bodies... also the male mind is wired to respond to the female form and to certain movements of that form... put two women togeather making all the right moves and that is one big turn on...

Guys loves fantasies....
