If the note is very old indeed (from before the 50's) it may be worth taking it to a coin auctioneer for evaluation.

easy, they are only worth face value. if its a ten pound note itsc still only worth 10 pound. bank of england will change them.

she can get them priced at any stamp,coin,or collector shop.
