It's the first-ever digital anthropological project. People from all over the globe are contributing photos, drawings, words, videos, and audio files to tell future generations about the world in 2006. When the time capsule closes on Nov. 8, it will be sent to the Smithsonian Institution and won't be opened again until 2020.

I go back to the time capsule every day to see what others have contributed. It's an awesome experience.

no clue, I thought they would have something fallish, or halloween-ish. is there something going on about a time capsule in the news? I haven't heard of anything.
