If they are in such numbers that they are a nuisance you can get Ortho MAX Lawn insect killer at a L&G Center. The active ingredient is bifenthrin (if they don't carry Ortho). Put it on with a spreader according to the instructions and your problem will be over.

In some countries, a cricket in a house is considered to be good luck. let them in and they will bring you luck and be out of your yard!

but seriously, I do believe there is a spray or something that you can put on the lawn to rid yourself of creepy crawly things. Check out a Home Depot or a farm and garden place.
