I think the french and the italian fans here are being prejudiced toward gay ppl. I myself am straight but i feel that its really rude of ppl to compare everything that they hate/disgusted with to gay ppl...for eg. There's Dr. zizou:Italians are gay....whose nickname itself suggests the point that im trying to bring out here(not that italins are gay but that ppl are bein prejudiced towards gay ppl. Then there is that Azzuri man...who hates france so he posts a question saying 'why do the french have a gay accent?' Well, arent gay ppl a part of the society of every single country. So, why are they being discriminated agnst here? Maybe what u all need is a good lesson in tolerance.
Who here wants to pledge that from the moment they answer this question, they will stop insulting gay ppl?

Whatever do u mean by its a bad cause? If u mean that being gay is a bad cause...then i think i will include u in the prejudiced list too...Being a homosexual is a mattr of choice...its like ppl choosing to be vegan or non-vegan...why dont ppl see that? I am straight but imagine urself in their position and everyone calling u names? how would u feel? Im sorry if i hurt ur feelings..i just feel hurt by the ignorance of our community
i feel helpless...wish i could stop this

I know... I have noticed this as well. Whether or not a person is gay, they are still the same person we have always known. There are homosexual people of all races, even if they haven't "come out" yet, and there should be no reason to label one race as "gay".

If Dr. Zizou dislikes Italians, there should still be no reason to call them "gay". What makes Italians any more gay than the French, or any other race, for that matter? I wonder what Frenchman would have such strong desire to defame their own people.

Those comments are not only racial harassment, but also discrimination based on sexual orientation.

You can't change the world with words but action. If you continue to show respect for others, more often than not, those around will feel uncomfortable being disresrectful to others, in your presence.

By your deeds, others will see and through small steps, change will come. Today people are mindful of making racist remarks infront of Blacks, something that happened with gay abandon (mind the pun), 2 decades ago.

I would like to also point out that gays are just as different as straight people. I am straight, but I have alot of gay friends. People look for differences in everyone then discriminate. All countries are affected by gay population. Not one country is exempt. People will discriminate against anyone to make themselves look better, but they really need to look in the mirror and ask themselves what they could do to better themselves.

I totally agree with you, people have the right to choose their sexuality and not be criticized about it. I personally myself have never insulted anyone being gay, it doesn't make sense they are human just like everyone else. Whoever insults anyone being gay are ignorant!

Our saying "gay" is referring to how much we (the people who use it in that way) hate it. It's so unnatural and disgusting. I hate it.

This question really isn't that smart. People have been saying it forever.
