Can't belive that was around 25 years ago. There was one other major political figure that had public debate. Anyone remember who it was? Have hunch so will ask does anyone want to speculate on effect this had to future political ambitions.

Don't know. I thought NAFTA was a hot in the 1992 election (Remember Clinton and Bush the 1st). Ross Perot was right! That loud sucking sound was, and still is, the sound of U.S. jobs and industry leaving this country. Jimmy Carter was probably the worst U.S. President during the 20th century; History will no doubt prove Clinton to be a close competitor for this honor.
