Ernie drives a cab and Bert is a cop...at least that's what I remember about Bedford Falls. And if I recall, I think one of them had a wife...can't remember though...I'll be watching "It's A Wonderful Life" during the holidays, I'll let ya know if there was "something more."

I would think that they are two men who remain trapped forever in the closet, unable to reveal their true feelings for eachother. I mean, heck, Ernie was way too into that rubber ducky.

no there both gay erine always wants to try and hit on bert but burt always turnes him down cuz hes not his type... so thats why he has his rubber ducky... cuz bert is to good for him.. hahaa...
