Clinique's acne treatment uses sacyllic acid, except for the Acne Cleansing Bar of soap that just "cleans" your face. I bought the bar for $10 not that expensive, but it's a mild soap, not tough on acne, but leaves a nice clean feel. I wouldn't recommend it.

But I do recommend buying their oil-free, no clog foundation make up. It is spendy, $20 bucks for just this small bottle, but it lasts all day long, no need for touch ups. I couldn't survive acne without it!!! apply a little after using Clean&Clear acne moisturizer: active ingredient benzoyl peroxide.

Hope this helps, and good luck

Clinique has got some great products. They've also got some sh*tty ones, which are all conveniently packaged in their 3 Step System. Don't go near that crap. Bar soaps and toners full of alcohol only make acne worse, and the Dramatically Different moisturizer won't help much either.

Try Liquid Facial Soap Mild, the mild toner (it's green) and Moisture In Control. They do like to sell the 3 step, but don't buy it!

Personally I use Mary Kay, but my friend who used to have massive problems with her skin has used Clinique for the last two years and her skin looks fantastic. She spends about $80-$100 every 2-3 months and that includes skin care and makeup. For your initial output it would be about $120-$140. But you only have one face and the skin you have will be with you for the rest of your life so treat it well. Also, this is a tip that my old friend from highschool got from her skin Dr.-change your pillow case every week, without fail, and if the pillow itself is old and kind of yucky, then get a new pillow and wash it once a month.

Clinique is a great brand. I remember that when I was battling with acne, it helped a lot. The company does not use cheap ingredients. That said, I really recommend it. I specifically think that Clinique provides great products for teenagers.

I think that you should contact a Mary Kay Consultant in your area and let her give you a free facial. If she knows what she is doing, she will know exactly what you should use for your skin. The best part is that the facial is free with no obligation to buy and ALL MK products are 100% guarantee!! Don't like it, return it!!

MARY KAY IS ALWAYS GOOD. WORKS FOR ME. MARYKAY ACNE TREATMENT GEL IS NOT MORE THAN $7. then 3 in 1 cleanser is $18, age fighting moisturizer is $22. they still have other cheaper cleansers and moisturisers that are good. please dont forget to include a toner. visit their site at www.marykay.com and you can also find a local consultant nearest to you from the site. i hope i have helped you.

i wouldn't use clinique if i were you!! its full of chemicals and oils and nasty things you don't want to put on your skin. try L'Bri Pure n Natural skincare. it's only $60-70 for a cleanser, freshener, moisturizer and blemish cream and it is as natural as it can be for being man made. the first ingredient is aloe instead of water or mineral oil like most other skincare (i.e. Clinique).

I liked it, but it started to become pricey for me. I have had some friends whose acne did clear up using clinique's stuff, but it did nothing for me. I say try it if you don't mind spending a few more bucks to see if it works for you.
