I think ex-Knick GM Frank Layden signing Allan Houston to that contract ranks among the worst, most stupid moves in NBA history...

Hold on chief Allen Houston was the sweetest shooter in the league till his knees went south. But I do think Layden joins Isiah Thomas as the worst GMs of all time. To answer your question every move made by Thomas and Portland not drafting MJ.

When the Sonics traded Scottie Pippen for Olden Ploynce on draft day. Wally Walker has made other stupid transactions through out his time with the SuperSoincs organization.

Also on draft day
in 2003, the Pistions selected Darko Milicic(sp). While Melo and D-Wade were still on the board.

how about that trade that sent grant hill to orlando for ben wallace. grant hill never played a full season and was hobbled with injuries. as for ben wallace, self explanatory. A ring, couple defensive player of the year awards, nba all star, all defensive team, u name it.

another one would be eveything the knicks have been doing since allan houston got injuried. they have been getting nothing from their players whatsoever. steve francis comes in and sucks, they just get jeffries, then he breaks his wrist, jerome james isn't worth 50 mill, even their coach larry brown didnt last a full season.

boston celtics are another team. following players they gave away; ron mercer, chauncy billups, antoine walker, ben wallace, bruce bowen, ricky davis, marcus banks, joe johnson. they are prone at giving away future stars. lets just pray gerald green or pierce aren't going anywhere. danny ainge; WORST GM!!!

This is a hard one but I'd go with Charlotte taking Vlade Divac and the Lakers getting Kobe. Of coure you'd alwo have to say Bowie over Jordan

I guess I will have to go along with almost all, that answered your question. Giving up MJ was a bad move. As for the Guy who picked on Danny Ainge, I think I may have to agree with you. As a Celtic fan, I am tied of seeing the Celtics in the gutter.
