Even a person standing next to you would be pointing at a different area, if the angle at which he/she held his/her hand up was same as yours, because the earth is round and space is huge. So even a fraction of a degree difference would indicate points in space which would be thousands (or more) of light years apart.

Interesting phrasing. If you are referring to same direction, no. The earth is round. Take a soft spongy Nerf ball and insert pins at a 90 degree angle to the surface of the ball. Each pin is "up" in relation to the surface, but over-all they are pointing in different directions.

Pointing in the same manner? Index finger pointing up with the rest of the fingers curled with the thumb on top of the middle finger? The majority would most likely be pointing in that manner, however, some societies consider that extremely rude and would point "up" with the hand extended, palm up.

In reference to the question, I would have to say no, we are all different people and there would be individual differences in pointing. However, the concept of "up" seems to be directly above our individual centers of our own bodies.

See how complicated I can make things? Hope this helps, good luck with your answers.

No as the earth is round, and we are located in different parts of the world even though they are pointing at the same object in space.

Yes, they would. And no, they wouldn't. Wherever you are on Earth, you would still be pointing up from your perspective. If you were in Australia and I was on the other side of the world, I would be pointing down relative to your position on the planet.

Nope, but they would all be pointing roughly the same in nature (away from the center of the earth, give or take some mountains and such)

Same way if they used their pointer finger on the right hand. Different directions due to the sphere shape of the Earth.

They would all be pointing a different way.

Good point in other words God isn't up!
But he is on another planet. Job 1:7 Then God said to Satan:
"Where did you come from" He said, "from roving about in the earth and from walking around in it."
Now he wasn't on the earth at that moment. He just came from there, so where was he?

For example a person in NY and a person in London?? No, because the earth is round.

Yes, in that they would all be pointing up, no in that each person would be pointing in a unique direction. Words be tricky that way.
