4."check your "ram" space-like mine was 128 and that was super low.so you could add more ram space to your computer.

Your computer has very little to do with Internet access speed.

If you have cable or DSL, your internet speed is determined by which company you're getting Internet service from, and how much you're paying. Almost all of them offer lower-speed packages for less $$$, and more expensive options for faster speeds.

If you're on dial-up, switch to DSL or cable :)

Defrafg your C drive or what ever is your main

Drive.... This is called a Disk Defragmenter...
Go to : Start... programs.. accessories... system tools..
Also DO NOTd/l any files, email, etc.. while surfing...

same thing happened to me. go on http://download.com and type in the search menu "speed up internet" they have lots of programs (alot of them free) that speed up the internet, some evn include anti-virus and what not. i have used this site mnay times with no spyware or viruses so its a safe site as far as i know from my past experience. good luck!

increase the memory; go to a cable connection; defrag the computer; check for viruses and spyware and delete them

are you on dial up? if so, get an accelerator from your ISP . though that won't help that much....so you're better off with high speed internet (cable/dsl)
