You can't really do anything except to just be there for your friend. It is really all up to her and what she will do or put up with.

As for your question: Should he continue talking to your friend?
I say NO! He just wants his cake and to eat it too. Basically he will continue talking to your friend, if it works out with his wife your friend will just be left out in left field somewhere. If it doesn't work out with his wife he knows he has your friend to fall back on. It doesn't say much for him either to be willing to treat either one of them like that. Does his wife know they are talking? Probably not!
Also, if he does this now, will he do it again? Most likely!

If he really cares for her why is he doing or why did he do this to her??
He knew they had plans to live together etc. and he does this.
That is not caring for her, it is using her!!

I would forget him and I would be done with him.
I'm sure she deserves better and can get someone better.
If a person strays then you don't need them anyways!

Good Luck to you and your friend!!

Living separated does not qualify him to be married again. The this guy clear himself with the divorce proceedings, and make himself eligible to marry again. Till then hold the relationship where it is. Moving in would cause more of an mental agony for both of you and your friend. There is a chance that this guy could use her to settle his issues with his wife.

there is nothing that you can do - she will have to forget about him
and move on..........to some one new. because she can tie up many years for something that may never happen or worse she(your friend) could wind up being the third wheel which he goes for sex when he has a fight with the O'le lady - lets just say she may be strung along for years with this guy with all the promises -
that never come true and she may die in her old age of broken heart syndrome "...a life time of pain over one man, finally ends today - woman dies of broken heart."

Cheaters are all over the US. She doesn't need to meet one on Yahoo, she can have her choice just walking down the street! Once a cheater, always a cheater. Tell her she's lucky to be rid of him. He would have done the same to her as he did to his wife!

look it`s a tricky situation.tell your friend to dump that guy.i know it`ll be tough 4 her but she must do that because that guy`s toying with her. some guys pretend that they care 4 a gal but actually they dont.so tell your friend to forget him.i am sure she`ll find another guy afterall there are plenty of fishes in the sea.

Girl tell her that should just leave and just be his friend and he probably has feelings for her but he doesn't care for her because if he did he wouldn't be with his wife right now So tell her to just be his friend.

First of all, don't take anything for granted... Your friend getting a place for them both was unfortunate..
I don't think you can get to know someone on answers.. People hide everything about themselves they don't want you to know. especially about ex's and such.
It is very unfortunate that she went to all that trouble, but she must break contact with him..
For her to hang on until he makes up his mind....
HELLO>>>>>>>>
Tell her to cut ties , change her phone and e-mail account and let it be a good lesson////

He's a pig.

He wants his cake and eat it too. Your friend was a re-bound girl, he's probably still hung up on the wife, and now your friend is hung up on him. I feel bad for her. You need to be supportive of her, and if you see him again....kick'im in the nuts.

He's a freakin' dork.

if he has a wife he should leave your friend alone, not much you can do, it's your friend who needs to open her eyes and see what kind of guy he is.
