You dont get your period while pregnant. Although I have heard that some women have had it every month, its not actually a period they are having. Also when you first get pregnant you can have implantation bleeding which is when the egg implants into the uterus. That will be extremely light though.

that brown spotting is simply old blood. lots of times when a woman gets done with her period the body does not completely clean itself out. it is left up to you to douche. some people will tell you douche is not good for you but it all depends on your body. and YES it is possible to have your period while you are pregnant. you have two ovaries of course. just because you are pregnant does not mean both ovaries know about it. sometimes the female body is so oblivious to what it is doing it wont send out the chemicals that tell itself it is pregnant. for example, i have a set of friends that are dating. when she was about 6 months pregnant, she took one of those walmart pregnancy tests, the test said she was not pregnant. her boyfriend took an identical test... it said he was pregnant, lol. it sounds funny but its the trueth. but my former mother in law had her period all the way thru her pregnancy with my ex-wife... however she was 12-13 during her pregnancy.

Mine stopped immidately, but i did have a friend that had her period all through her pregnancies. Once with a boy, then again with twins. The doctor told her that her mucus plug wasn't intact either time. She was told to take it easy and she had to go in to see him every month to make sure it wasn't a miscarriage. She was embarassed but it was best for the babies. Also, they were all healthy. Things could have been different if she hadn't gone to the docs.

I had my period just as usual all through my first trimester. In fact, I didn't even test positive with a home pregnancy kit, until I was three months pregnant!

normally you shouldn't although I remeber getting mine in my fourth pregnancy and I believe I had it for 5 months, not everyday but like a normal schedule. You cannot go by any one else though, after getting mine with one pregnancy, I got it with another and didn't worry about it, thought it was normal, and found out a week later it was a miscarriage. In any event, you should see your doctor right away, so they can decide if it is normal for you. Good luck.

Usually you won't have your period at all, But, some people bleed months in to the pregancy--and some the entire time.

that depends!!!! Some women do not gettheir period when pregnant. It would come back a month or so after you have had the baby. also it would come down monthly as normal or moght come down irregularly. depends on your body as well.
