that all depends on where you want your tattoo. For me I got what best describes me and what I like. I am also getting another tattoo and this one is going to be an Egyptian Princess on my back. You can choose whatever you wish for a tattoo it can ge a carton character, or a symbol, pretty much anything you like, if you do not see it at the tattoo shop tell the tattoo artist what you are looking for and they can design it for you. Good luck

Get a Tattoo of Napolean's Occupation of Egypt and subsequent defeat by Nelson of the Nile...
Full battle scematics across your back
If you could get the some small war horses from both sides of the battle (or maybe some small but accurate diagrams of the boats that Nelson and Napolean used) on your shoulder blades, you could move them around a bit and recreate famous battle scenes when looking in the mirror or to amuse small children in the park

That is a very personal decision. If you are willing to let a bunch of strangers tell you what tattoo to get and where to put it, you will probably regret your decision in a very short amount of time. Remember, tattoos are permanent. Make your decisions very carefully.

I have tattoos. In my opinion, you should get something that means something to YOU. As for placement, the same goes for that. Each one of my tattoos has a special meaning to me and I placed them accordingly.

If you have to ask random people you've never met where you should get a tattoo and of what, I don't think you should get one. It should be personal to you, something you can look at and be reminded of something, don't forget you'll have it for the rest of your life!

A tattoo is a personal thing. I wouldn't tell you to get a snake with your girlfriends name on it if you were a girl who loves butterflys. If there's nothing you want badly enough in ink on your skin forever, then don't get anything.

Flip through tatoo magazines & see what you're drawn to. Don't get something too trending or immature because its permanent. Don't get a tatoo anywhere that can be seen at a job interview. That includes your neck, face, wrists, lower arms & ankles. Back and upper arms are safe zones because you can always cover them if need be.

Think very carefully before having one,I wanted one just after I turned 18,it took me 12 years to finally have one.I designed the tatoo my-self and it's one of a kind.I even kept the template, and it's on my upper left arm.No regrets at all 8 years on.
