In conclusion, man makes the clothing, clothing does not make the man.

Your conclusions should almost directly reflect your introduction... you should restate your thesis statement, and NEVER use the words "In conclusion" or "In summary" or anything like that! And if you think you should say, don't judge a book by its cover, then say it.

Basically, restate your introduction in another way, and restate your thesis statement, because your essay should be derived from your thesis, and you should have prooved your thesis by the end of the essay!

Actually, you might want to stay away from that quote. It's WAY too overused and cliche. Depending on what the rest of your paper is about, tie it up using the most important points you brought up earlier in the paper. If you interviewed anyone and you have quotes, end it with a really good quote. But stay away from cliche quotes and sayings... BIG no-no in college!!!

When writing essay's etc. you can use different techniques to end the story. My Favorite and most satisfying is the "Circle Back Technique" You make a meaningful statement at the beginning and then after you have proven your points, you end it with something that refers back to the beginning and closes the story, I am sure you have seen many movies that have used that technique.

I just read up on conclusions because I have trouble with them sometimes. What I read said that often it is a good idea to put a question to your reader that makes them really think about what they just read.
Perhaps, "Is it possible for one to have no real fashion sense and still be a great person?"
How this helps, good luck!!!

Stay away from the cliches and think outside the box.
Actually the circle around method mentioned above does work effectively.
And the examples, but hopefully you used those to prove your points in the body of your essay.
Good luck

That's to cliche'. Read your essay again, a lot of times your conclusion is a direct result of your introduction.

i always found a good way to conclude an essay is to just put a paragraph at the bottom that begins - "So in conclusion,"......blah blah blah.

but then i do live under a bridge
