Is there a resource that has the data about a company's size (number of employees or revenue)?

Unless that company has printed something up and sent it out there is no reason for a private company to report that kind of information.

Size has nothing to do with being private. All that means is that shares are closely held and not available to the public. They can be as small or large as they want. Google Had 800 employees and 700 million in sales in 2003 and was a privately held company, and they went public in 2004.

A small company can be one or more employees!!
