Presumably you mean Oman. I was there in 1995 working for the Sultan's air force as a civilian aircraft fitter. You will have to have a professionally recognised qualification to work there. This has to be one that cannot be met by the local work force, such as nursing, engineering, journalism and such like. Unskilled people are not wanted, exept for very hard physical labour. This is filled by the Asian labour pool. If you are well trained with a good skill, they will have you.
