I was just on the yahoo home page and saw this Headline: • Stingray jumps on boat, stabs man in chest.

You must be joking me... How could a headline be more decieving? Are you really telling me... the stingray, flew out of the water, over a 3+ foot high boat side, landed in the boat, stood up and stabbed a man in the chest?

Sounds more to me like the guy was fishing, pulled the stingray on board and then it stung him in the chest. So shouldnt the headline read, Man stung by stingray while fishing? I understand its not as DRAMATIC... but its truthful... I hate decieving people in headlines.

Im sure you all see the ones were rouge vehicles kill people... such as "SUV drives over family of 4"... THOSE damn SUV's :) Oh wait.... it wasnt the SUV's fault... OH YEA ITS THE DRIVERS FAULT... odd that storys about guns are not that way..."Colt 45 kills man for money."

What are your thoughts about these decieving headlines? Makes me want to read less news personally.. makes it seem like a lie

i agree with you.

But the newspapers/sites main goal is to make money. These headlines sell. It would be great if they were more turthful, but then people may not read them as much (based on what news companies thing)

And the headline now is "Fla. boater stabbed in chest by stingray"

From what I've read and also heard in/on the news the ray actually did jump out of the water and into the boat.

Is it possible the virus for rabies has mutated and the mutant can infect fish?
