Am looking to buy a complete pre made kit car. Dont want to build it just drive away.Have seen the Dax rush and Marlin, also tiger and robin hood type. All look fairly tasty. I wont be racing it, just having mid life crises and fancy something sporty. Willing to spend up to £4,000. Am mechanically minded.... Any ideas ?, What should I be looking out for ?

Lots of work. Kit cars generally require a substantial amount of modification to the donor car and a ton of body work, electrical, chassis depending on if the kit requires a car to be stretched or not, etc. If you're not doing it yourself you better have a HUGE budget. Looking at a turn-key version of the car is probably an overall better idea if you're not going to do the work yourself.

They bought the dsign off Lotus when they were finished with it....seriously rapid car and probably one of the best handling vehicles you'll ever drive

Don't know what they cost but the Aerial Atom looked good on Top Gear.

Well, this one is going to cost more than you want to spend but in my view, it's the way to go and the fastest way to get there!
