it's not wierd...I went to high school with a girl that spelled her name like that. And personally, I love names that are spelled uniquely. So, don't let 'em get ya down-you're unique!! : )

People given everyday ordinary names thinks when someone changes a spelling in more fashionable way that they are weird.
Sorta like clothes sometimes dressing fashionable is called (weird) by the more down to earth everyday type of people. I love the spelling of your name. And I Love to dress weird.

Why would they think YOU are weird? Did you come out of the womb and declare your own name?
Older folks (like me sometimes) get frustrated because we used to be able to buy cute little mass produced necklaces, pencils and such for our neices(then our grandchildren) with their names on them. Any more we have to learn how to needlepoint or do embroidery, as traditional names are pretty much out the window as people are calling their children names that are definitely unique.
Those who think YOU are weird are just 1) unable to spell more than one variation of a word, or 2) a bit off themselves.
Don't get bothered by it - feel sorry for them!

There is nothing wrong with the way you spell your name. The weird ones are the ones that are calling you weird

Because you deviate from the norm. When you differ, it is harder to fit in. People look at you and ask why do you feel it is necessary to be different.
