On Good Morning America today Diane Sawyer talked to Korean School children. She adked them the question" If you could go any where in the world where would you go?" a young person clarified to ask (Do you mean travel?)
The answer for the class was NO where. We live in the most beautiful place in the world. Why would we leave to go somewhere else??
Are they brain washed or are the people truley content?

It is possible for them to be content; it's there home. Home mean a lot to people. People can like their home even though it is not perfect.
Brainwashing can be on both sides. It could be on the side of the Koreans in thinking that there home is fine; or it can be on the side of the on looker who thinks that anyone who doesn't live like them must not know what they are missing because their way is better.

To them, they just might! It's not about brainwashing! People have traveled all over the world and loved everything that they saw, but still decides that they home is the most beautiful place in there hearts.

No doubt, Korea is beautiful. But so are many other places. I think really it boils down the fact that she asked children. If you ask children in just about any country they would tell you that they don't want to live someplace else. Humans are instinctively afraid of change. I wouldn't consider their responses to hold a lot of sociological weight.

this is a true case of brainwashing.
the people or teachers taught then that if they leave home to move anywhere in the world they could die or not make it.
this is a troubled world we live in,and the sad part of this is that,it's not just there it's here as well.
look at the military,to me they be live that all that is said by our pres.Bush,is true,and that we can win this war,then it's a fact that we are not really doing that well at all.
maybe there is something one day that will make all people realize that all we see and hear isn't what it seems to be.

If you do a little research on North Korea, you will be horrified at how intensely these people are brainwashed and filled with propaganda. I think it's the worst, and most dangerous country in the world.

hi...i think their answer was normal and it would be the normal answer from any person who really loves his home land...whethere its really beautifull or not cuz we may like some thing which is not liked by others....
but i hope that every one realize the meaning of homesickness cuz as they love their home land also we(palestenians) mad about our home land and every one likes to live and die n his land......
