there are several ways to go with dragons

here's some ideas for backgound

they are symbollic of man's earthly roots and the divine spark that gives us wings, so maybe we all have a "dragon" within us

"noble" dragons are usually super-intelligent and may be magical or long-lived & their names may depend on the dragon's ancestry and which "flight" he or she is in; you could create a whole dynasty

e.g. Tiamon, daughter of Torzegul etc.

fallen dragons may have been noble once, or may just be base flying snakes (descendents of reptiles perhaps) and may not have names (but are often given names by those they terrorise).

e.g. Slytail, Slayyngor, Deceiver, Grimdeath etc.

enjoy!

Massacrant, Mechant, Vanquor.

These are french words for "vile" and "victor," with a couple of changes made to the spelling.

Good luck on the fantasy!
