Common injuries in gymnastics are the ankle and foot for both men and women. The lower back and knees take a serious beating. Males hurt upper body, women hurt lower body (more).
Lots of chronic injuries.

track & field, sprinters torn hamstring, hurdlers ruptured achilles, jumpers torn acl to name a few. Never had any myself, I guess I was lucky as my husband said I had a horseshoe up my butt.
