The San Francisco Bay Area, which is why I live here; it's also why it is one of the world's most expensive places to live...that is, a lot of people want to live here and they're willing to pay big bucks to do it.
What's not to like, the SFBA has:
1. Winter sports 3 hr away by car.
2. Water sports .5 hr away by car.
3. Five star restaurants.
4. Live theater, prize winning orchestras, jazz clubs, etc.
5. Napa Valley wines less than 2 hrs away by car.
6. Spectacular ocean and mountain views.
7. Nationally ranked universities (Stanford and Cal)
8. Leading biotech and computer industries.
9. Spring/fall like weather year round.
10. Nice people (except when commuting on the freeway)
11. Spectacular parks (Tilden, Golden Gate etc.)
12. and more........
What's not to like...yes, its expensive, but it's worth it.

New Zealand.
Wide open spaces, Exquisit scenery, Local culture. Adventure, Friendly people, Sheep, Lots & lots of sheep. In fact so many sheep its difficult to see anything else!

Great prices, safe, friendly, spectacular landscapes, from Rain forest to desert, beaches, glaciers and ski resorts.

the Gambia in west Africa is great...its hot ..everything is so cheap...and the people are the friendliest Ive ever met...and the coastline is to die for
