I just want to know how much pain I might expect and what will happen? It looks like my baby is alive but my body wants to push him or her out, so Im looking at probably going into labor or something? How much will this hurt? How long will I have to wait in an ER room with strangers (Im in Canada) and will I be screaming? Will the baby come out alive and then die shortly after? How traumitized will I be and how much time should I take from work if this were to happen for sure?

If you go ahead and get to the doctor in time they can give you a shot to stop labor. The baby would be born very tiny, but you can get help to stop the labor you just need to hurry to the doctor. As far as hurting it would be like normal labor but with a smaller baby....GOOD LUCK....I will keep u in my prayers.

If you think you are having a miscarriage you need to see your gynecologist. It is not a grand adventure I had a miscarriage about 16 weeks pregnant. If you are trying to go into premature labor they do have medicines to try and stop it. Pain depends on you my first had epideral no pain, second birth had two epiderals that did not take had him natural and yes there was pain. However it usually doesn't last that long and it is all worth it in the end. In the U.S. they usually take you right up to the birthing floor. It is really hard to say how your baby will be. I know that they possibly can survive at 30 weeks as twins. My best friend was pregnant with twins and lost one of them but the other survived.

at that stage its not a miscarriage its a pre term delivery and the baby will be born just l ike at full term except it will die either before or right after. go to the hospital now if you think you are going into labor they can stop it stop worrying angd go to the hospital they will take you to labor and delivery not the er. tell them in the er you are 20 weeks and might be in labor

every miscarrage is different. I don't think you will go into preterm labor. If you have a actual miscarrage, then the baby will most likely die first, then you will have to have a D&C . (Look it up). But if by chance you go into actuall labor then you will give birth to a baby that might be dead, or will die soon after. hope this is not the case. good luck.

I would just say to get to your doctor ASAP or go to the hospital labour and delivery floor not the emergency room in labour and delivery they can possibly try and stop you from having it, cause your baby wont survive at all at 20 weeks you could have a stillborn or deliver to a alive baby but it wont make it, the lungs aren't near as developed that they need to be to survive, good luck

The doctors can try to stop that if you are going into early labor. Have you been to the doctor.
