When I logged into the free Deal or No Deal site, why do they need my date of birth? Only reason I can think is that they are selling yr details.

Maybe they need to know your age for the content that they show.
eg: If you put in your 13 they wont show the adult rooms or prizes
If you put in your 18+ they will show all content because they are allowed to!
Don't worry, they wont steal details otherwise it would wreck their TV show and they wouldnt be payed millions!!

Its classed as gaming so you have to be 18 or over to play, giving your birth date (even though you could make one up) prooves whether you are old enough

for going on the tv show? or the competition?
it's probably just protocol, you've probably gotta be over 18...and why would that stop them being genuine?

All I know is this. Two of my work mates had tickets or what not to audition, they were asked two questions ( don't remember what they were) and never heard back. they were both 39 yo
