doubling the dimensions doubles the perimeter and quadruples the area

double the demension & perimeter is doubled.
Area is square measure so it increases by a factor of 2^2=4
peremeter is 2 times as large
Area is 4 times as large.

the area of the double is 24cm²
for the perimeter we have two hypothesis: 20 cm or 22cm
