If some drunk bum comes up to you nd asks "hey man can you spare some coin" What do you usually do?

I usually answer (you will drink my coins away mr bum) in a different language and walk away...

I usually give him the cash, because If for whatever reason I becaome a bum I would want some coin for some drank.

Tell him "Nah, so that you can go and waste it on something stupid like food, here, lemme buy you a beer instead" :-)

Just kidding, sometimes I do give money and sometimes I don't. Honestly, I don't think there is a perferct answer to this one. On one side, I do feel that it is our responsibility to help those that are less fortunate than us. But on the other, I do question how much help is given by giving a man a fish instead of making him learn how to fish.

I usually don't give them any money. Around where I live they are always the same people, but they just come to me with a different story.

If I have it to give to him/her then I will. It's always nice to help the less fortunate. I know 9 out of 10 times they collect the change for alcohol, but I still can't say no. I feel bad.
