I would like to see the Tigers face the Mets because if the Tigers defeat the Mets in the World Series, they will be the first MLB team (that I am aware of) to defeat two New York MLB teams to win a World Series.
On the other hand, I would like to see a rematch of the 1968 World Series because the '68 World Series help to bring Detroit together.

I am a Braves fan so it hurts me to see the Mets one game away from the World Series. However, my favorite player is Andruw Jones who came in second to Albert Pujols in the MVP race last year. Therefore, I would like the Mets to advance and for Pujols never to even make it to the World Series because everyone in the media drools over him. Plus, his oblique injury this year is an indicator that he takes steroids, much llike the oblique injuries of other steroid popping atheletes.
