I suppose that in a situation where one was being abused, being kissed passionately by the abuser would be punishment.

It can be a punishment if one of the parties does not want to be passionately kissed by the other party.

Haven't you ever seen Sleepy Hollow where Miranda RIchardson's character is passionately kissed by Christopher Walken's chracter? By watching the movie and seen, you can see that it is obviously an act of punishment.

It can be used as a form of control. Used a lot in novels to depict the strong man using his passion to control a strong, but obviously passionate, woman. The woman is put in her place because the sexuality between the two is so powerful that even her strong will succumbs to the will of the man because she is not willing to loose this passion in her life. She would rather stand down and obey.

My husband considers it such. He has a phobia about germs and actively *can't* handle passionate kissing. Also, if you are being forced to passionately kiss someone you dislike/hate, or someone of a gender you find displeasing, that would be punishment. Or a family member where it is inappropriate.

If it just ended after the kiss. In my mind the kiss can only be passionate if the two people have equal passion for one another. God bless

If you know the passionate kiss will raise emotions that will not be satisfied: ie. going on a long trip and leaving the one behind in emotional turmoil or using the passionate kiss as a farewell-this-is-what-you'll-be-missing-forever, then either of those instances could be a punishment.

You can bite a tongue or lip ;-) not joking now: maybe its a last kiss or something and the couple has to separate. OR maybe they were palying bottle and had to kiss each other passionately even though they hate each other. Are you writing a book? ;-)

Very simply. If the kiss decreases the liklihood that a preceding behavior will occur again, then it is a punishment.

When it is forced, coerced, or done with another person directly in front of your partner as as a manipulative, spiteful instigation of jealousy and hurt. It can also be a way of exerting dominance or control over someone.
