I mean there are some vicious hits in the NFL this year and I've been fortunate to see a few of them (Chad Johnson getting trucked, Vince Young's hit that cause him to fumble early in the season, and the ugly hit on Trent Green), but I don't see them on Monday Night's 'Jacked Up'. Last year all the great bone crunching hits were on there, this year it's like the only hits are the ones where guys walk away immediately with no after effects. Where are the big hits? Last year helmets were flying - this year, not so much? What do you think?

I think they're trying to shy away from glorifying the real "big hits", the type that could knock a guy out of a game. That's too bad, because that's part of football.

They have gone soft and they cut the time in half. Last year they had a bunch of clips, now they just show 3 or so. And the one's they show are never even the best hits. The week Chad Johnson got hit I only saw it quick on SportsCenter and assumed it would be on "Jacked Up". I think all the shows got screwed up this year. Maybe in time they will get better.

Maybe they decided to stop for a while because of the fights and suspensions in the NFL and College now. Or maybe they were forced to stop by some higher power! The NFL is cracking down on violence this year (I mean, come on, a little stomp on the head with cleats?! HAHA!) and players are getting heated.

"Jacked Up!" has gotten softere... but at the same time (and yes, I'm quite aware that football is football and has innate risks), you cant continue to belittle the recipient of that big hit over and over and over again.

I dont know... I'm a big football (Go Giants!) and I love to see big hits, but often times I see a hit that makes even me want to run home to momma.
